2024 ACS FELLOW

 

Congratulations to Dr. Chuanbing Tang of the University of South Carolina Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry who is one of thirty-seven ACS members received this national honor in 2024. These members have displayed a certain level of outstanding contribution to science or the profession as well as service to ACS. The fellows program began in 2009 as a way to recognize and honor ACS members for outstanding achievements in and contributions to science, the profession, and ACS.

 

Dr. Tang has been instrumental in promoting Project SEED which provide STEM research, learning, and growth opportunities for high school students with diverse identities and socioeconomic backgrounds so they can be empowered to advance and enrich the chemical science enterprise.
